Pillow fight + Arcade machine + dog = an amazing engagement session in DeBary with Nina and Patrick

Wind + Pillow fight + Arcade machine + dog + open field = an amazing Debary, Florida engagement session with Nina and Patrick (and Bruiser)

I love mother nature. Some people have a love hate relationship with her, but most of mine is love. The elements create an environment that just cannot be repeated to make amazing photo shoots. Most of the time you cannot plan for the elements when you schedule something weeks or months in advance. Whether it is rain, snow or in this case wind.

Nina, Patrick and I had been talking about this shoot for a month. We had a million awesome and crazy ideas, but we narrowed them down to pillows, an arcade machine and their dog Bruiser. Narrowing it down that much was tough because they love to brainstorm like I do!

I could not have been happier with this shoot! There were so many amazing pictures and I broke out a new 50mm. I haven't used a 50 in ages!

UPCOMING: Bridal Ball 2011 at the Lake Mary Event Center

When we set out to create our first Bridal Ball in 2010 we had a key goal in mind. We didn't want it to be like every other show that you go to. We wanted it to be fun and we wanted to give the professionals a chance to show off why they are the best and trendiest pros around.

Last September we did just that. The Bridal Ball was spectacular with so many details that you wouldn't even notice them all until you walked around more than once. Plate after plate of delicious food was served by Big City Catering while a DJ and band kept the dance floor moving.

This year we have brought it back and just as amazing. You can even "like" us on Facebook and keep up with the most recent happenings.

These clear table numbers were one of those cool ideas that a designer came up with!

There were balls of flowers dangling in vases created by one of the amazing florists.

As a photographer who was supposed to photograph the event it became overwhelming, so I can't imagine what the guest thought.

Unfortunately the time that the doors had to be open from the time that everyone was setup was very small. Even if I had an entire day to photograph everything, I don't think I could have done justice because it was so spectacular in person. This is an event that hands-on is the only way to see it.

These photos are only a sampling of what to expect. If this excites you as much as it does us, you can purchase your tickets right here

This year you will find us again trying to scramble and capture every last detail. We hope to see you there!

Part 2 of 2: Paradise Cove at Buena Vista Water Sports, Orlando, Florida wedding of Marla and Shannon

The light is perfect, the people are seated, and now it's time for the ceremony to begin.

Custom coozies!

There was literally a boat load of beer. There were 40 cases of beer in a canoe, to be exact. It didn't all get finished, luckily they had another party planned for the next day.

UF is their team, but they didn't want to have too much. These cake toppers did the trick.

One of our favorite DJs!

She could get people dancing everywhere.

And when she got cornered walking back to the microphone, she got cornered and couldn't help dancing a little.

They even had a fire going!
