Part 1 of 2: DIY Amazing at the Maitland Art Center, Maitland, Florida, wedding of Rachel and Rich

"i am getting married soon, april 3rd. and i'm a huge fan of your work and would very much like you to be my photographer."

Thank you so much Rachel and Rich! We were so excited to join you! We are fans of your amazing wedding super powers!

Rachel is the queen of DIY amazing and very limited budget and made it spectacular. With the help of her awesome man, friends and wonderful family she put together this wedding on a budget! This is our second wedding in a row where the couple did their own flowers.

She didn't stop there though, she baked and designed both the cakes and some of the other goodies. You can really see this is a passion of her's.
Rachel did a creative job and I loved the billy balls. Now if you know weddings you know that a lot of what needs to be done, can only be done the night before or the morning of. Something that they were able to do before the wedding were the silverware wraps though. It just astounds me at how much passion went into this wedding, I am so excited that we were a part of it!

Sequined Converse, awesome!

Wow I love this belt! It's based off of an airplane altimeter

Outside the Ballroom: Rix Lounge at the Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Conquistadors are explorers and adventurers. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort let's you follow the path of Don Francisco de Coronado, a Spanish Conquistador who searched for the legendary Seven Cities of Gold. Within this southwestern style resort is a unique venue that would have fit well in those cities.

The Rix Lounge is a unique venue and one of the rare venues on Disney property not operated by Disney.

You will feel like an explorer as you discover the ambiance. As you walk in and look around, try not to feel to overwhelmed. If you look up, you can find some amazing architecture in the light fixtures. Around the rest of the room the colors just bounce. If you need a little break, then try one of the hanging chairs.

This is definitely a venue for the couple who have found something even more valuable than a golden city.
