Featured on Albook!

Marla and Shannon's Wedding has been featured on the Hispanic blog ALBOOK!! The blog has beautiful weddings with Spanish influences, but not to worry if you're not a fluent Spanish speaker! There are english translations for the blogs.
ALBOOK was excited to feature their first beach wedding on their blog, and Marla and Shannon's could not have been a better choice. The wedding was simple and allowed the beautiful scenery to speak for itself with pops of color. Be sure to check out the amazing blog for Marla and Shannon and their wedding if you missed out!!

Part 1 of 2: Paradise Cove at Buena Vista Water Sports, Orlando, Florida wedding of Marla and Shannon
Posted by
Charissa

Marla is an incredibly strong person and amazingly strong people surround her! Her wedding day started out with a major uncontrollable bump, and the support of friends and family around her was awesome to watch.
This why you pick these people to be near you and stand with you as you are joined with someone you plan to spend eternity with. Sometimes during the most emotional times in your life there will be one more thing that could send you over the edge. These are the people who will keep you strong and pull you back. On this day they showed there were no better people to be there.

The engagement ring is Shannon's grandmother's.

I admit it I love heels, but everyone should, they are truly works of art! These Badgley Mischka's were amazing. Look how the jewels weave down the back. Now if I could just find a pair in my size! ;)

These shalls were made by Marla's mom. The each took 7 hours a piece and she made 100. That's some easy math, but wow! They were gorgeous.

What better way to take a little bit of the edge off. The guys played a round of golf before the big day got under way.

Paradise cove is so on top of things. They put together this emergency kit!

Marla's sister wore a turtle neck when she had her hair done. Marla wasn't going to let her ruin her hair pulling it off. Marla put a pair of sheers through the back of her sisters shirt to get it off.

This first look had so much meaning to it. After a very rough morning this is the first time that the couple got to see each other. I knew how much emotion was built up inside Marla. The emotion had built up inside me just because I was with her and I knew it was all about to come pouring out. It is definitely one of the most real and beautiful moments I've photographed. I'm glad I was invited into their lives to be here for this. Thank you Marla and Shannon!

=)

Patience. The ceremony will be here!

Here we go! See you tomorrow.....

Borrowed and Bleu has featured our coverage of Marla and
Shannon’s engagement session at the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin
Stadium! While the couple may be true UF Gators at heart, there was an
unexpected appearance of an actual REAL Florida gator!
