Outside the Ballroom: Don Vicente Inn

The Don Vicente Historic Inn of Ybor City, Florida not only stands out because of its classy, old soul feeling but also due to the history in which it is rooted. Built in 1895, Don Vicente Inn was originally the Land and Improvement Company for Ybor City but was transformed into The Gonzalez Clinic until 1980. The building withstood the tests of time and weather for nearly 20 years before it was refurbished into the jewel of sophistication it is today. Let's go inside! The Grand Salon provides a tasteful lounge for guests to mingle before the ceremony. Designed to provide a living room atmosphere for comfort with elegant seating and classical fixtures, the Grand Salon can even be where your guests shake their tail feathers all night long. A few steps away is the Grand Dining Room and Cafe, ready to serve up to 200 guests. For the Boardwalk Empire fans, Don Vicente's website states the dining room plus the lounge area can be transformed into a 1920's speakeasy! If you just want to dance, the staff will easily set up a Boogie Nights party straight from the screen. (You have to provide your own John Travolta, though.)



If your guests need a breath of fresh air, Don Vicente features both a patio and piazza for a little cool down time. The staff are ready to help you pick all kinds of decorations from simple to extravagant and the chef will assist in crafting a menu to suit any kind of taste.
