When I think of St. Augustine I think of architecture, exploring, and history. When I was in public school we went there on field trips and always made the same rounds through the Spanish Quarter Village. The schoolhouse was always first on the list... then it was off to see the blacksmith, the carpenter, tour the house and we always finished with the fort. It was cool the first time but after that we all had that "been there, done that" attitude.
It still is one of those places I wish I visited more often. Every time you go back you can find someplace new and exciting in some corner you missed.
The White Room, built in 1888, is one of those places I'd like to visit.
Here you'll find stunning hardwood floors, a mahogany bar, and amazing waterfront views. It's a perfect place not only for receptions but rehearsal dinners and luncheons. There is also a newly added
loft and rooftop. I would love to hold an event here and then head out to explore the rest of the city!
You'll find windows all around the room so no matter where you are there's always a gorgeous view of the harbor.
