It's summertime! Vacation, beaches, travel! So many photo opportunities.
We are bringing the 18 years of our award winning experience to the classroom to help you decide what all those buttons do. We don't want to see that fancy schmancy camera gather dust because you are too busy to open the manual.
Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 9:30am in our quaint little town of DeLand at the Sanborn Center, you are welcome to join us.
For a $40 investment this 3 hour class for beginning and intermediate photographers will go over the basics. We will explore the camera, light, composition, simple file organization and some computer workflow. (It will not include any advanced skills or marketing information.)
If you make this investment before July 5th, because we know there will always be more questions, we will toss in a 15 minute follow-up phone consultation. This can be used anytime in 2012.
Just fill out the form below, submit and then click the Buy Now button!

Aphotoaday Geekfest

Editorial photography may not be my mainstay anymore, but it's still my passion and is a big drive to everything I do. Geekfest is the best underground workshop there is. The lineup of speakers is HUGE, the people who attend are just as amazing and the price is unbeatable! I've gone to every one since the second one happened 7 years ago.
I think it may be losing a little bit of it's undergroundness, but it's still one of the best workshops around for any photographer looking for some inspiration.
If your passion is photojournalism or even if it's just being around greatness, then this is a must attend event.

Geekfest 2008!

Did I mention I'm catching up. Geekfest this year stepped away from the shooting and more into the listening. I certainly hope (and I heard many from many others who also hope), that it get's back to it's roots of shooting.
We always seem to find some really cool hotels. The management said they just made this elevator electric recently.

Dinner after listening to Kenny Irby speak.

The photo slam. A poetry slam while a slideshow of photos rolls.

Chip Litherland is so color coordinated!

Michael Williamson is in the same boat we're in.
